Odd this publish is totaly unrelated to what I was looking google for, but it was listed on the 1st web page. I guess your doing some thing correct if Google likes you enough to put you around the initial web page of a non associated search.

Eu am reusit fara nicio problema sa imi setez un client SIP pe telefon (C3X) si merge perfect.
Mai mult am reusit sa imi setez si un VoIP phone fizic de pe care merge fara nicio problema :)
Maybe I’m just lucky!

Folosesc serviciul de ceva vreme si poti sa iti spun ca poti suna numere de Italia doar din clientul SIP online ( flash ) – chestie confirmata de serviciul cu clienti – cica nu au capabilitati hardware pentru a suporta alti clienti SIP in afara de cel al lor.
Dar oricum in general clientul SIP online nu prea imi merge cum trebuie – calitatea sunetului lasa de dorit, dar in schimb nu am deloc probleme cu alti clienti SIP ( fie pe desktop sau smartpone ).
Sporuri.

I forced myself a while ago into something similar, using ratpoison but I quit after a week or so for a more conservative UI. Now I’m using a standard Gnome desktop(dual screen) and Terminator for console stuff, which allows me to split its window to achieve something similar to what awesome does with your windows.
I’ll give awesome a try, thanks for bringing it up.

Clock accuracy is a must nowadays since many applications, especially those where timing is critical, take it for granted.

NTP or virtualization support for time sync is one of the first things I enable on a new machine.

Offcourse, I don’t do it by hand. Puppet and/or kickstart to the rescue!

Yes, that’s true with Kerberos and some other id/auth methods.
In Windows setups, for instance, machines that are outside of the domain (Active Directory) are sometimes ill-configured and do not synchronize through NTP, which causes exactly the same trouble: you can’t connect to the domain accounts.

My implementation for adding the points relies on the counter commands which unfortunately support only integer values.
Maybe the exercise package suggested by @Stefan might have extra support …

Also you might think of increasing the total number of points by 10x so you get rid of the half points.

Btw, how about addin float number as points? I can’t manage to add 5,5 or 5.5 points instead of 5, and it wouldn’t do the right thing.
